The injury sustained by Wolves big man Ronny Turiaf is as bad as it appeared Friday at Target Center, when he took a nasty fall that resulted in Turiaf fracturing his elbow.
Turiaf is out indefinitely, with Timberwolves PR tweeting the injury announcement yesterday.

The injury will likely mean that rookie center Gorgui Dieng will be pressed into duty on a more extensive basis. Here’s what head coach Rick Adelman thinks of that idea.
Adelman on Gorgui: "The more he plays, the better he'll be." Says he'll get an opportunity with the Turiaf injury #Twolves

For Turiaf, another bad break, but he’s dealt with bigger ones before, having to overcome open-heart surgery to return to the NBA.
Word is, he’ll be reevaluated next week to establish a timetable for his return.
