Is Ricky Rubio as good as gone? Is Shabazz Muhammad on his way out?
Those two players, maybe more Timberwolves, could be involved in a lot of trade speculation between now and Thursday’s 2 p.m. NBA trade deadline.
Interestingly, Rubio has created speculation on his own by suddenly following Kristaps Porzingis of the Knicks.

Porzingis and fellow New York Knick, Willy Hernangomez, whom Rubio was already following, liked Rubio’s tweet last night.

It might be noteworthy because Rubio’s name has been tied to the Knicks in a straight up deal for Derrick Rose.
On top of that, Twitter users say they’ve noticed that Rubio took the Timberwolves out of his Twitter bio. We’re not sure what his bio said before, so this is all wild speculation.
Rose has an expiring contract after the season, meaning Kris Dunn and Tyus Jones would be the top two point guards on the roster heading into next season if Rubio is headed for the New York.
Meanwhile, according to a Wolves blogger PunchDrunkWolves, ESPN’s Brian Windhorst was on the radio this morning saying Minnesota would prefer draft picks over Rose.
Windhorst joined 1500 ESPN’s Darren Wolfson on Tuesday and said the Bucks want to send Matthew Dellavedova to the Wolves for Rubio.
As for Shabazz Muhammad, the Wizards have shown interest in him, according to ESPN’s Marc Stein.
