Timberwolves superstar in the making Karl-Anthony Towns is one of four people up for the “Best Breakthrough Athlete” award at the 2016 ESPY Awards.
Towns, the NBA Rookie of the Year, is up for the award against Chicago Cubs starting pitcher Jake Arrieta, UFC fighter Conor McGregor and X Games snowboarder Chloe Kim.
You can vote for the award right here. The winners will be announced at the ESPY Awards on July 13.
We all know how awesome Towns was as a rookie, averaging 18.3 points and 10.3 rebounds per game. But what about the others?
Arrieta won the 2015 National League Cy Young Award while posting a 1.77 ERA – and he’s been just as good so far this season.
McGregor became a UFC champ and quickly rose to the top of his game with his trash-talking flare.
Kim won two gold medals at the X Games and became the youngest female to land back-to-back 1080s.
