Top 10: Watch us try the food you can eat at U.S. Bank Stadium

Tuesday was food day U.S. Bank Stadium, where media members were allowed to enter the gates and try all the foods the $1 billion home to the Vikings has to offer.

From baked chicken wings to smoked chicken nachos and something called the Italian Grinder Sandwich, some of us here at BringMeTheNews along with Ben, Dana and Giselle from the Go 96.3 morning show bib’d up and chowed down.

These are our top 10 selections based the combined score of five of us giving 1-10 marks. Fifty points is a perfect score.

1. Baked Chicken Wings – 50 points (Chappy’s Street Eats)
2. Fried Chicken Tacos – 45 points (Rusty Taco)
3. Petit Fried Chicken Sandwich – 43.5 points (Revival)
4. Gourmet Mini Cinnamon Rolls – 40 points (Cinnie Smiths)
5. Smoked Chicken Nachos – 39 points (Twin Cities Foodie)

We also tried these amazing T-Rex Cookies (they’re huge and use a slogan of “#sizematters”) and everyone fell in love with the taste. The same goes for Lola’s Cafe’s dry rubbed and sweet chicken wings.

The foods are really, really good. We don’t know how much they’ll cost at Vikings games, but you’re going to like your options.
