Usually it’s teams along the east and west coast that end up logging a lot of miles on the road.
However, it’s the Minnesota Timberwolves who will travel more miles than any other team next season.

Rounding out the top five are coastal teams, Portland, Boston, both Los Angeles teams and Golden State.
Meanwhile, teams like Indiana, Toronto, Detroit and Cleveland will travel only about 15,000 fewer miles than Minnesota.
The NBA made it priority in the offseason to cut down on back-to-back to games, but that apparently didn’t apply to the Wolves as they’re schedule for 15 back-to-backs, which is one more back-to-back than they played last year. At least the league has done away with playing four game in five nights.
The Wolves will also be in the national spotlight a ton next season, with 25 games on national television, which is believed to be a team record, according to Jon Krawczynski of the AP.
The Timberwolves open their regular season in Texas against the San Antonio Spurs on Oct. 18.
