The Timberwolves lost the sixth of their last seven games Sunday afternoon, falling 108-101 to the Phoenix Suns in Phoenix.
1. Wolves struggle on offense
The Timberwolves got 28 points from Zach LaVine, but their backcourt of Kevin Martin and Ricky Rubio combined for just 20 points – Rubio scored only one. Karl-Anthony Towns was held to eight points, the Star Tribune reports.
Minnesota turned the ball over 24 times, and was down by as many as 21 points.

The Wolves closed the gap to five points in the third quarter, but the Suns always seemed to have an answer.
2. Knight was hot from 3-point range
The Suns’ Brandon Knight provided some of those answers – scoring seven buckets from beyond the 3-point line, including three of them in the fourth quarter. He finished with 25 points on the game, the Associated Press reports. Eric Bledsoe had 23.
3. A losing trend
The Wolves have lost six of their last seven games, including a 111-108 overtime loss to the Nuggets Friday night in Denver. They’re now 9-14 so far on the season.
