The Timberwolves put a stop to Oklahoma City’s 12 game winning streak with a 99-93 win at Target Center Thursday night. Over a three minute stretch of the fourth quarter, the Wolves turned a three point lead into an 11 point lead behind 12 straight points from J.J. Barea.
Last season, the Thunder beat the Wolves in a classic double-overtime game that featured 51 points from Kevin Love and a triple-double for Barea. This time around, Love nearly had the triple-double. He scored 28 points to go along with 11 rebounds and seven assists.
Durant paced the Thunder with 33 points. Westbrook almost finished with a quadruple-double. He had 30 points, 11 rebounds, 9 assists and 8 turnovers.
