Chicago Bulls 93 (OT)
The Timberwolves held the Bulls scoreless in overtime to take a 102-93 overtime victory Saturday night in Chicago. The Wolves are now 3-2 on the young season, but oddly they’ve won all three of their road games and lost both home games.
1. Huge game for Wiggins
Andrew Wiggins returned to his rookie-of-the-year form by scoring 31 points to lead the Timberwolves to the victory. He executed a pretty spin move and dunk to perfection to briefly tie the game at 91-91 with a minute left in regulation.

The two teams traded baskets and it was 93-93 at the end of the fourth quarter.
Wiggins’ 31 points was two points shy of his career high of 33.
Rookie Karl-Anthony Towns scored 17 points and had 13 rebounds.
2. Bulls held scoreless in OT
The Wolves turned up the defense another notch in overtime, shutting out the Bulls while scoring nine points of their own. It’s the first season for Chicago’s new head coach Fred Hoiberg, a former Wolves player.
3. Early start time explained
A 5 p.m. tipoff time is a bit unusual for an NBA game. But it was apparently scheduled that way to accommodate fans in Spain.

Players on both teams have ties to Spain – Ricky Rubio and Pao Gasol are natives of Spain, and several others played on Spanish league teams, the Star Tribune notes.
The 5 p.m. tipoff here meant a midnight start time in Spain, which is seven time zones away. But on a Saturday night in Spain, midnight is the shank of the evening, Rubio told the newspaper.
