Kevin Love’s expected return to the Timberwolves has been delayed, according to the Pioneer Press.
The All-Star forward had hopes of being cleared for full contact practice this week, but a previously scheduled CT scan did not happen. Love’s doctor told the team that a CT scan wasn’t necessary.
Instead, pictures of Love’s hand were sent to the surgeon that operated on him. The pictures will be re-evaluated next week to determine when Love can increase his workload.
Meanwhile, shooting guard Brandon Roy tells the Pioneer Press that he’s been practicing hard for two weeks and hopes to play next week.
Update — Wolves coach Rick Adelman does not expect Roy to play again this season.
