The Minnesota Timberwolves locked up another restricted free agent, agreeing to a three-year deal with Juancho Hernangomez on Sunday afternoon. According to Stadium’s Shams Charania, the deal is worth $21 million.

Hernangomez joined the Timberwolves last February in the same deal that landed Malik Beasley. Hernangomez played 12.9 points and 7.3 rebounds per game over 14 games in Minnesota.
The signing of Hernangomez is the second restricted free-agent the Wolves have retained this week, signing Beasley to a four-year, $60 million extension on Friday. Hernangomez joins Karl-Anthony Towns and rookie Jaden McDaniels in the Timberwolves frontcourt.
