1) LaVine stars in monster first half
The Timberwolves looked extremely confident in the first half, surging out to 68 points, 4 below their season high for first halves, and shooting 71.8% from the field. Zach LaVine put on an offensive clinic, grabbing 15 points on 6/8 shooting and going 3 of 5 from beyond the arc. He also picked up two timely steals, jumping into the passing lane for a dunk in transition, and making this well-timed swipe at the ball for a sneaky three-point opportunity.

2) Ball movement leads to record efficiency
Minnesota had one of their best assist nights on the year, putting together 36 assists on 52 made field goals, and the passing resulted in a franchise record breaking 68.4 field goal percentage.

Andrew Wiggins looked especially confident with his dimes, netting 26 points and 6 assists. Karl-Anthony Towns also showed off his passing with a new career high of 7 assists to go along with his 28 points.

3) Long ball finally falling for Minnesota
