31 years of the Metrodome are almost over. All the concerts, the sporting events, the monster truck rallies, the roof deflations, and Sunday will mark the end of all the major historic happenings at the revolutionary stadium.
Since there are so many opinions and feelings out there about the Dome, we figured we’d abstain from adding to the Metrodome madness.
One more thought, insult, or bit of praise levied on the Dome, and its roof may rip again.
Instead, we gathered as many over-the-top lists, out of control ramblings, and rip-it-to-shreds musings as we could find, so you can relive everything that was the Dome, and all the feelings it inspired.
Let’s start with FOX Sports North. They’ve really taken the drivers seat in Metrodome coverage in every aspect, whether it be good or bad. Here’s their list of 10 worst Metrodome moments, followed by their 10 best. They narrow the selection to Gophers football after that. Then, the 10 best Vikings moments come to the forefront, and the extravaganza concludes with a piece that let noteworthy Vikings tell their favorite Metrodome story.
