We can’t stop writing about Karl-Anthony Towns. The Wolves’ Rookie of the Year was already in an NBA commercial for the NBA Draft, and now he’s in a post-draft commercial from Foot Locker.
The commercial features likely No. 1 overall pick Ben Simmons, along with Towns and fellow 2015 draft picks Devin Booker of the Suns and D’Angelo Russell of the Lakers.
If you’re wondering why Russell takes Simmons’ phone and throws it out the window, it’s because Russell made a “rookie mistake” when he went public with a cell phone video of Nick Young, his Lakers teammate, appearing to admit to cheating on his then bride-to-be Iggy Azalea.
Making the release of this commercial even better is that Azalea dumped Young earlier this week. She’s apparently had his 1962 Chevy Impala towed and thrown Young’s belongings in the driveway, according to the New York Daily News.
