The Minnesota Timberwolves fell to the Denver Nuggets on Friday night 117-113, in Denver.
The Timberwolves only used eight players in the game.
Kevin Love posted another double-double for the Wolves in the loss. He scored 28 points and grabbed 10 rebounds. J.J Barea dropped in 21 points on 10 of 14 shooting. Ricky Rubio dished out 12 assists for the Wolves but was held scoreless on 0-5 shooting.
Kenneth Faried had a double-double for the Nuggets. He finished with 16 points and 10 rebounds. Wilson Chandler came off the bench to lead Denver though, he scored 19 points in just 22 minutes on Friday night.
It was tight the whole way through Friday night. The Timberwolves led 60-56 at the half, but were done in by a slow third quarter when they were outscored 30-21.
The Wolves host Boston at Target Center on Saturday night.
