A Vikings fan named Gilbert Thole has started a petition to get Teddy Bridgewater to blow the Gjallarhorn before the Vikings-Packers game Week 2 – the home opener – at U.S. Bank Stadium.

The Vikings told BringMeTheNews that nobody is locked in to blow the Gjallarhorn in Week 2, but Bridgewater’s health and ability to get around is most important right now.
Bridgewater’s season came to an abrupt end on Tuesday when he suffered a dislocated knee and torn ACL during practice.
Bridgewater simply showing up in front of the fans will likely draw a monster reaction from the crowd, but if he’s the one to blow the Gjallarhorn before kickoff it would undoubtedly ignite an even bigger fan reaction.
