The Wild will be without defenseman Jonas Brodin who suffered a broken finger in Minnesota’s loss to the Devils on Tuesday.

According to Michael Russo of the Star Tribune, the timetable for Brodin’s return is up in the air. He’ll be seeing a hand specialist to get his injury looked at.
Although Minnesota has depth on the blue line, losing Brodin hurts. The 23-year-old was in the midst of his best season yet, on pace to finish with 31 points. That would of shattered his previous career high of 19.
The former first-round pick has averaged 19 minutes per game this season.
In the meantime it sounds like Nate Prosser will play in Brodin’s place on Thursday against the Coyotes. Minnesota could also call up an extra defenseman from Iowa.
