One of the final steps to getting U.S. Bank Stadium ready for this weekend’s grand opening was accomplished Thursday with the installment of the Gjallarhorn.
This year’s version is pretty cool – and it’s brand new after the Gjallarhorn broke in the frigid weather leading up to that all-time cold playoff game between the Vikings and Seahawks at TCF Bank Stadium.
The giant horn is located above the first deck and the north end zone.
