Their 17-0 record is the best start to a season in program history and their top-ten ranking is also a program first.
Coming into the weekend, the Gophers were batting a ridiculous .347 as a team.
Two-time All-American Sara Groenewegen picked up her 9th win of the season on Saturday. The senior has allowed just 4 earned runs, while striking out 71 batters in 56.1 innings pitched this season.
The Gophers will go for their 18th straight win on Sunday against Illinois State.
