A prep football star in Texas has committed to continuing his education and playing football at the University of Minnesota.
Nnamdi Adim-Madumere, a 6-foot-3, 225-pound wide receiver from Fort Worth, Texas, picked the Gophers over big-time college football programs like Alabama, Baylor, Texas A&M, Texas Tech, Kansas State and Missouri.

The junior from Southwest High School was extremely explosive last fall, piling up 837 yards and 13 touchdowns on just 26 receptions – an average of 32.1 yards per catch.
Scouting service 247 Sports lists him as a three-star recruit while ESPN’s scout grade has Adim-Madumere as a four-star recruit.

Blake Ruane of The Daily Gophers has seen Adim-Madumere play and his scouting report on him is nothing short of exciting.
“Imagine a bigger and faster Tyler Johnson. His combination of size and speed is absurd. Adim-Madumere has the speed to get downfield and behind the defense, and possesses the size and physicality to make a play for the ball. I’ve also heard his hands described as catcher’s mitts.”

Minnesota’s 2019 recruiting class is currently ranked 19th in the country, according to 247 Sports’ team rankings.
