Teddy Bridgewater knows exactly what DeShaun Watson is going through.
Watson, a rookie quarterback for the Houston Texans suffered a torn ACL in practice on Thursday. Just like Bridgewater’s, the injury was on a non-contact play, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL.com.
Bridgewater tweeted out support to the rookie gunslinger when he heard the news.

It was likely that Watson was a shoo-in for the Rookie of the Year award.
The former standout at Clemson University put up impressive numbers in his first season in the NFL, throwing 19 touchdowns and eight interceptions while completing 61 percent of his passes.
Watson’s teammate J.J. Watt, who is also out for the season, voiced his support for his quarterback too.
Minor setback for a major comeback.
We’ve all seen what’s possible, can’t wait to see what’s next. With you every step of the way 4.— JJ Watt (@JJWatt) November 2, 2017
Rapoport notes that Tom Savage will take over as quarterback for Houston, who are 3-4 on the season.
