Adidas will be giving the NHL a bit of a makeover when the company takes over the rights to supply official team jerseys starting next season.
Several organizations tweeted out a teaser of what the revamped jerseys will look like. The Minnesota Wild were one of those teams.

Adidas takes over as the official NHL uniform provider for Reebok, which has supplied the sweaters since 2007. Adidas will unveil a new line of jerseys across the league during the June 21st awards show and expansion draft for the Vegas Golden Knights.
The tweet suggests a few stylistic tweaks are on the way for Minnesota’s jersey. The Wild unveiled their current white road uniform in 2013. For their home threads, Minnesota has sported the dark green uniforms with the Minnesota script since 2009, and the alternate red uniforms that the club originally debuted in 2003.
The image from the tweet matches none of the current Wild uniform layouts. The Minnesota script on the current green sweaters appears to have been replaced by the team logo. It also reveals a new cream-colored broad stripe in the middle of the jersey’s chest going through the snout of the Wild logo, a feature that neither the current green or white jerseys have.
The teaser image suggests that an Adidas logo replacing a Reebok logo is just the beginning of one of the many changes we will see to NHL jerseys starting next season.
