In his latest column with the Pioneer Press, former Vikings quarterback Fran Tarkenton says he wants the Vikings to “take the training wheels” off of Christian Ponder and allow him to make some plays this week at Houston. He thinks Minnesota can win if they play with “tremendous energy and fight for a full four quarters.”
Ponder did a couple of radio interviews Tuesday. He joined FM 100.3 KFAN and a ESPN Radio podcast.
