Minnesota Timberwolves All-Star Kevin Love underwent successful surgery Tuesday on his broken right hand, according to Fox Sports North.
Love broke the hand twice. Once, before the season (knuckle push-ups). He broke it again in a Jan. 3 game against Denver.
His timetable for recovery hasn’t changed. The Wolves, according to the Star Tribune, expect Love to be out of the lineup for the next eight to 10 weeks.
That means it’ll be a mid-March return for Love, at the earliest. Minnesota’s regular season wraps up April 17.
