Action sports fans got a treat today as the X Games announced that it is coming to Minneapolis in 2017 and 2018 for it’s summer games.
“It is anticipated that X Games Minneapolis will see the majority of the competition hosted at U.S. Bank Stadium, at both the indoor stadium and the adjacent Medtronic Plaza and Downtown East Commons,” a press release from the X Games says.
“We’re hip and we know it, but not everyone does. That’s now going to change,” said Minneapolis City Council member Jacob Frey.
