Darcy Kuemper returned to his early season form and the Minnesota Wild beat the Winnipeg Jets 3-2, Monday night in Winnipeg.
The victory snapped a five-game losing streak for the Wild and was just the second time in the last 15 games the Jets have been beaten in regulation.
After a couple of tough breaks for Kuemper and the Wild early in the game, he stepped up to close the door when it mattered the most. Kuemper finished with 28 saves on the night.

Winnipeg took the 2-0 lead on a pair of power play goals. The first came from Michael Frolik late in the first period, while Mathieu Perreault netted one 20 seconds into the second period.
But Minnesota battled back with three straight goals in the second.
Ryan Carter put the Wild on the board with his third goal of the season, while Justin Fontaine tied the game with his third goal of the season. Brett Sutter and Kyle Brodziak assisted on both.
Marco Scandella gave the Wild the lead just over three minutes later when his slapshot from the point found the back of the net.
