It’s not like the Minnesota Vikings don’t have enough injuries to worry about, already playing minus their starting quarterback, running back and left tackle – only Adrian Peterson has a chance to return this season.
But it looks like another one of their big playmakers could find himself on the shelf this week.
Stefon Diggs leads the Vikings with 25 catches and 372 receiving yards. But Diggs has been dealing with a groin injury – he did not return to practice on Thursday.
Zimmer asked if Stefon Diggs, held out Wed. + Thurs. w/ groin injury, could play: "We'll see. … Had a groin last week and played, so."

Diggs was bothered by the injury before Monday night’s game, and was held out of the Friday practice before the Carolina game, but played in both.
If he is able to go on Sunday, he’ll be lined up against one of his good friends that he’s competed against since high school – Houston cornerback Kevin Johnson.
“We’re real good friends,” Johnson told the Houston Chronicle. “We go all the way back to freshman year of high school just knowing each other since then from high school to college.”
While the Vikings and Texans don’t play often, there won’t be many secrets between those two.
