A huge crowd gathered at the State Fair today to see the newest Minnesota Timberwolves in person for the first time. Andrew Wiggins, Anthony Bennett, Thaddeus Young and Zach LaVine were perched on a stage and pelted with questions from local reporters.
And with the State Fair comes a trip down the giant slide. Wiggins and LaVine took a ride. KSTP has video.

Wiggins, Bennett and Young were Minnesota’s return on their Kevin Love investment, which was dealt to the Cleveland Cavaliers on Saturday. LaVine was the No. 13 pick in this year’s NBA Draft.
Wiggins, whose future was in doubt the moment LeBron James signed with the Cavaliers more than a month ago, admitted he’s relieved the uncertainty is over.
“It’s been a crazy summer, really up and down,” Wiggins said, according to the Pioneer Press. “I wanted to play for a team that wanted me.”
“I’m situated in a spot I will be for a very long time,” he added.
