The newspaper and Vikings had a deal nearly inked to sell the land about four years ago, but then credit markets seized up and scuttled the deal. But, as Finance and Commerce reports, the paper still hopes to entice either the team or anyone else. The Strib’s publisher says they’re watching the stadium debate closely.
