The Spurs smacked the Wolves deeper into their losing streak with a 106-88 win in San Antonio Sunday night. Minnesota has now lost three straight, and nine of 14 games overall.
Tim Duncan paced the Spurs with an impressive stat line: 12 points, nine rebounds, five assists, seven blocks and three steals.
Tony Parker led all scorers with 20 points.
Minnesota has been held below 90 points in four of it’s last nine losses.
Head coach Rick Adelman missed a fourth straight game to be with his wife, who is in a Twin Cities hospital for an undisclosed reason.
They’ll have another chance to break the losing streak Monday night in Dallas.
