Ryan Doumit hit a three-run homer and the Twins pounded out 17 hits in a spring training win over the Phillies, 12-5 on Wednesday.
Kevin Correia made his second start of the spring for Minnesota. He allowed three runs and five hits over 2 1-3 innings. The numbers aren’t impressive, but Correia might have been distracted by the fact that his wife is about to give birth to their third child.
Former Twins outfielder Ben Revere played well. He had two hits, a stolen base and score two runs in his first game against Minnesota.
