He’s coming off Tommy John surgery last May and tells MLB.com that he felt great and there’s no doubt he’ll be ready on Opening Day.

“He’s pretty good at what he does,” manager Ron Gardenhire told the Pioneer Press. “He knows not to overdo it.”
Pelfrey, who signed a one-year deal for $4 million, is expected to face hitters again on Wednesday.
