James Beresford and Ray Olmeda homered in the eighth inning to give the Twins a 4-3 lead over the Orioles, but relievers Josh Roenicke and Caleb Thielbar gave up six runs in the ninth and Baltimore beat Minnesota, 9-4 in a spring training game Wednesday night.
Kevin Correia started the game. He allowed a pair of runs over 4 and 2/3 innings.
Minnesota’s spring training record is now 10-7.
