Even Jay-Z and Beyonce were impressed.
For the second time this week, an Oklahoma City Thunder fan came out of the stands and drained a half-court shot, earning him $20,000 and the instant respect of Mr. and Mrs. Carter.

According to SI.com, Brad Brucker is the second fan this week and the fifth since March to nail it (the link lists all the winners), making everyone wonder if Thunder fans are better shooters than the team.
The 33-year-old business teacher at Piedmont High School made the midcourt shot Thursday night during the Thunder’s 105-91 win over the Los Angeles Clippers. Two days earlier in a game against the Denver Nuggets, fan Cameron Rodriguez won from long range at Chesapeake Energy Arena, according to the Associated Press.
USA Today reports Brucker and his wife had gone to buy hot dogs, but were turned away because the dogs weren’t ready yet. It was then that a Thunder representative asked Brucker to take the half-court shot. The paper also says the odds of making the shot are about one in 100, but that Thunder fans are five for 22 since March.
Sponsor MidFirst Bank pays the cash out of pocket sans insurance. Thunder star Kevin Durant joked that the team “might go broke after these guys, they’re hitting every half-court shot.”
Durant, by the way, is a client of Jay-Z’s, which explains why the rap and roll royalty were in the house.
