Vikings general manager Rick Spielman (and a planeload of purple employees) is at the NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis to get a closer look at potential draft picks.
Spielman, in an interview with KFAN-FM 100.3’s Paul Allen, described the 2013 draft as “intriguing” and “deep.” Spielman added with the Vikings picking No. 23 on the board, said “we’re going to get some pretty significant players.”
KFAN-FM is keeping track of the Combine happenings, and is updating a live blog. That’s right here.
Later, Spielman told reporters that — as of yet — he hasn’t fielded any trade requests for Percy Harvin:
Spielman said he hasn't fielded any questions about Harvin from NFL coaches/GMs, only reporters. "No intent" of trading him. #Vikings

Spielman also said Adrian Peterson will be fully healed from sports hernia surgery in time for offseason programs. However, center John Sullivan and defensive end Jared Allen probably won’t be ready after going through surgeries of their own.
