MLB Network unveiled its pitcher power rankings on Monday and Gray is third and Ryan is 10th on the top-10 list.

- Clayton Kershaw, Los Angeles: 2.98 ERA
- Nathan Eovaldi, Texas: 2.83 ERA
- Joe Ryan, Minnesota: 2.25 ERA

All ten have an ERA that is among the top 21 in the big leagues, with Gray leading the majors with a 1.64 ERA and Ryan ranking eighth with a 2.25 ERA.
Ryan owns the third-lowest WHIP (walks and hits per innings pitched) at 0.89 in the big leagues and he’s tied for the MLB lead with eight quality starts.
Opponents are hitting just .203 against Ryan, which is the 10th-lowest opponent batting average in the majors. Shohei Ohtani is No. 1 with a .142 opponent batting average. Gray is 14th as opposing batters are hitting just .210 against him.
Both Gray (10.95) and Ryan (10.61) are top 14 in strikeouts per nine innings.
The Twins host the San Francisco Giants in a three-game series Monday-Wednesday. Gray is scheduled to start Tuesday and Ryan will take the mound Wednesday.
