In a state where professional baseball has been lacking for nearly three seasons, television networks have to get creative to keep fans interested.
The first place to turn in the Twins organization is straight to the minors, with the club having stockpiled an immense amount of talent.
Earlier this season, Fox Sports North broadcast a Cedar Rapids Kernels game, to showcase the country’s number one prospect according to Baseball America, Byron Buxton.
Now, it’s the New Britain Rockcats and Miguel Sano’s turn, as FSN will televise their game Monday against Trenton.
