The Wild are dealing with injuries to some of their key players, but they don’t have to be back on the ice until Thursday when they open a road trip in Pittsburgh.
But even with the break coming at a good time, Wild coach Bruce Boudreau isn’t sure that either Erik Haula or Zach Parise will be ready.
“I wouldn’t go zero, but I would say slim,” said Boudreau when asked if either will be ready for Pittsburgh.
Both are dealing with foot injuries, according to a report from the Star Tribune’s Michael Russo.
Boudreau said Haula was back on the ice and felt good.
“Zach is about 70 percent, so he’s getting better everyday he says,” Boudreau added.
Defenseman Marco Scandella and forward Zac Dalpe are not skating yet and both are expected to remain out for a significant chunk of time.
