How much money would you be willing to pay to go to a regular season NFL game?
It might shock you to find out what some of the Vikings single game tickets are selling for through some of the online ticket brokers today.
Those brokers are the one spot where those tickets can be found, and Vikings fans will have to fork over some serious cash if they still want to see their team play in the new stadium this year.
Single game tickets went on sale today and as expected they were a hot commodity. The Vikings said ahead of time they only had an extremely limited number of single game seats available.
This year they have eight regular season and two preseason home games.
According to WCCO, the Vikings say the tickets sold out in under two hours, but some fans tell the station those tickets were gone much sooner than that.
That’s not to say you can’t find a Vikings single-game ticket for sale – many online ticket brokers have them, but they aren’t going to come cheap.
The least expensive options on the NFL’s official ticket exchange for the home opener against Green Bay is $249. On StubHub, you’re also looking at a minimum of $249 apiece.
On the other end, lower endzone seats on StubHub? The highest is more than $13,000 – for each ticket. (Who knows if they’ll actually sell for that price though).
FOX 9 reporter Courtney Godfrey saw tickets to the regular season opener against the Green Bay Packers selling for as much as $9,300 a seat.
