A short-handed Wolves team fell to the Hornets, 104-92 in New Orleans Friday night. Minnesota had just nine healthy players on the roster, but more like eight-and-a-half with Ricky Rubio’s minutes being limited.
Minnesota led by 15 points after the first quarter, but the Hornets outsored the Wolves by nine points in the second quarter and 15 points in the third quarter.
The Wolves have now lost eight of the last 12 games. They’re also one game below .500 for the first time since early December, when they were 8-9.
