Susannah Collins, the Chicago TV reporter who stumbled on the air last week, saying the Blackhawks had “a lot of sex” during the regular season (she presumably meant “success”), has been fired.
According to the Huffington Post, Comcast SportsNet Chicago says the dismissal was “unrelated” to the on-air gaffe.
But as the Chicago Tribune notes, the timing “is difficult to ignore.”
