MPR is reporting that the city’s mayor and business leaders will make their pitch Wednesday at the Capitol. The move comes a bit late in the game; Gov. Dayton wants stadium proposals turned in by Thursday. A supporter says the Shakopee option would cost just over $900 million, and that proceeds from casino games at Canterbury Park would help fund the public’s share.
