Happy news in the Hollywood and NFL world: Shailene Woodley has confirmed her engagement to Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers.
Rodgers had intimated as much as he accepted this year’s MVP award, mentioning among other things that he had gotten engaged this year.
His fiancee however was not identified, but after speculation that the pair had been in a long-distance romance, Woodley – a star of Big Little Lies and the lead in the Divergent series – confirmed the news in an interview with Jimmy Fallon on Monday evening.
“Yes, we are engaged,” the 29-year-old said. “We are engaged. But for us, it’s not new news, you know, so it’s kind of funny. Everybody right now is freaking out over it and we’re like, ‘Yeah, we’ve been engaged for a while.'”

Sorry, Green Bay fans, the headline is a bit of fun, we know that Aaron Rodgers is one of the greatest of all time and we would personally carry him from Green Bay to Minneapolis on our backs if he signed for Minnesota.
But you can’t deny he should have more than one Super Bowl win (thank you, Mike McCarthy). Come on, let Vikings fans have this … it’s all we’ve got.
Here’s hoping Woodley gives him more support than the Packers front office has during his career.
