Shabazz Muhammad has apparently had enough of being called, Shabazz Muhammad.
Instead, the Timberwolves forward wants to be known as, “Bazz.”
Forget the “Sha” and see ya later “Muhammad.” He’s a one name kind of guy.
Muhammad told Jerry Zgoda of the Star Tribune on Friday that he just likes being called Bazz and everyone already calls him that anyway, so he might as well make it legal.
He’s just Bazz to the Timberwolves
In Minnesota’s newly remodeled locker rooms at the Target Center, each player has a nameplate above their locker with their first and last name, except for Muhammad. His simply says, “Bazz.”
The former first-round pick is in his fifth season with the Wolves and has averaged nearly 10 points per game in his career.
