Devin Setoguchi scored a power-play goal with 39 seconds left in overtime to lift the Wild to a 2-1 victory over the Nashville Predators Saturday at the Xcel Energy Center, the Star Tribune reports.
The overtime goal also snapped the Wild’s three-game losing streak and the Predators’ four-game winning streak.
The Predators led 1-0 after the first period, until the Wild tied it up 1-1 with a goal in the second by Cal Clutterbuck.
A duel between Wild goalie Niklas Backstrom and Predators goalie Chris Mason, who had 12 and eight saves, respectively, in the scoreless third period, set up the overtime showdown.
The Wild next travel to Calgary to take on the Flames Monday night.
