Seriously? Wolves are ranked 5th in new NBA video game

If someone asked you to list five teams better than the Timberwolves going into the 2017 NBA season you’d have very little trouble rattling off the likes of Cleveland, Golden State, San Antonio, Toronto and the Los Angeles Clippers, among others.

But that’s not the case in the video game NBA 2K17.

Karl-Anthony Towns, who has a rating of 88 out of 100 in the game, posted a photo to Instagram showing the Wolves as the fifth-best team in the NBA. According to the Wolves, Towns is part of the 2K Sports family, so he got an early release of the game. The game comes out Sept. 20.
