Minnesota Twins 5
Cleveland Indians 1
The twins are officially on a winning streak after beating the Indians twice this weekend. It was also their first series win on the road this season.
1. Duffey allows zero runs
Tyler Duffey pitched a seven inning shutout on Sunday, putting the Twins on course for the win. His ERA for this season stands at 1.85 now.
Another K and that makes 7 shutout innings for @TheDoof13! 💪💪💪💪💪💪💪 #MNTwins

7 shutout innings for Tyler Duffey. Last Twins pitcher to accomplish that: Tyler Duffey, Sept 20 vs Angels.

2. Polanco hits first career homer
Infielder Jorge Polanco hit his first home run since the Twins called him up to the majors in June 2014. The run was also his fourth RBI of the season. It gave the twins a 3-0 lead over the Indians in the seventh.

3. Ninth inning insurance
More than once this season the Twins have been ahead going into the last few innings – and then given up runs at the end to come out with a loss. But the ninth inning of Sunday’s game had a refreshing ending. A double from Eddie Rosario brought Byung Ho Park and Jorge Polanco home. The Twins went into the bottom of the ninth with a four-run lead.
Rosie!@EddieRosario09 delivers a 2-run double in the 9th for a 5-1 #MNTwins lead.
We like insurance runs! 😃
