Did the Seahawks baffle and pressure Teddy Bridgewater to the point of fear? Apparently so, according to Seahawks edge rusher Bruce Irvin.
“He was so scared,” Irvin told NFL.com. “Teddy’s a really good quarterback, and he’s going to do some big things in this league. But we had him (rattled).”
Rattled to the tune of 118 passing yards and an ugly interception that set up Seattle’s late-second quarter touchdown to go up 21-0 en route to a 38-7 shellacking.
He played poorly enough to garner comparisons to former Vikings first-round quarterback Christian Ponder. Yes, it was that bad.

Seattle’s defensive effort was impressive, but Jim Souhan notes that Seattle’s defense has allowed 30 points three times this season and at least 20 points three more times.

“Yeah, we’re not quite as good as what we think we are,” head coach Mike Zimmer said. “Especially if we don’t play the way we’re capable of playing we’re definitely not as good as what we think we are.”
But it’s been a rollercoaster past four weeks for Minnesota.
After five straight wins the Vikings were 7-2 before the world seemed to end in a blowout home loss to the Packers. The next week the Packers lost on Thanksgiving to the Bears and the Vikings dominated the Falcons to reclaim the division lead.
All was well again until Green Bay got a miracle win over the Lions and Seahawks crashed the latest Vikings’ party.
At the end of the day, Minnesota is tied for the division lead (Green Bay owns the tiebreaker) going into Arizona (10-2) on short rest for Thursday Night Football.
In four days will the sky still be falling, or will this rollercoaster reach another peak?
