Here’s a rundown of some of the significant hockey games played on Hockey Day in Minnesota Saturday.
Wild vs. Coyotes

Goalie Devan Dubnyk made 25 saves and had an assist to lead the Minnesota Wild to a 3-1 win against his former team, the Arizona Coyotes, Saturday night at Xcel Energy Center.
The Wild scored one goal in each of the three periods, with Zach Parise making an empty netter with 53.3 seconds remaining to ice the win. It’s the first time since November the Wild have won two in a row. Game recap here.
Hockey Day College Scoreboard
No. 16 Minnesota Gophers vs. Wisconsin Badgers
The Gopher men bounced back from their tie Friday night and beat the Badgers 5-2 Saturday night at Mariucci Arena. Travis Boyd scored two goals and had an assist, and Sam Warning, Connor Reilly and Christian Isackson also scored goals for the Gophers and goaltender Adam Wilcox had 23 saves, according to the Star Tribune.
In the final minute of the game, Mike Reilly started a brawl that involved every player on the ice, and he was disqualified.
The Gophers improve to 6-2-1, and won just their second Big Ten contest of the season.

No. 1 Minnesota State-Mankato at Ferris State
The MSU Mankato men’s hockey team scored three goals in the third period to beat Ferris State 3-1 for a WCHA series sweep in Big Rapids, Mich. Game recap here.

No. 5 Minnesota Duluth vs. Western Michigan
UMD lost to Western Michigan 4-2 Saturday night at home, after tying 2-2 Friday night. Western Michigan scored three goals in the third period to seal the win The Bulldogs’ five-game home unbeaten streak comes to an end. Game recap here.

St. Cloud State at No. 13 Denver
Denver scored three goals in the third period to beat the St. Cloud State Huskies 4-1 for a series sweep Saturday night in Denver. Game recap here.

Bemidji State University lost 4-2 to Lake Superior State University 4-2 Saturday night in Sault Ste. Marie, Mich., dropping both games of the weekend series. Game recap here.

No. 2 Gopher women vs. Minnesota State, Mankato
The Gopher women completed the sweep of the MSU Mankato Mavericks with a 7-1 victory Saturday afternoon. They won 7-3 on Friday night. Maryanne Menefee, Hannah Brandt, Dani Cameranesi and Kelly Pannek each had a goal and two assists in the game, according to the Star Tribune. The Gophers have beaten Mankato four times this season.
