Miguel Sano’s chances of starting at third base for the American League in the All-Star Game will be decided by midnight tonight.
Sano, who will participate in the Home Run Derby in Miami during All-Star festivities, has seen his lead over Cleveland’s Jose Ramirez drop to 34,000 votes. Voting ends at 10:59 p.m. CT tonight.
Ramirez trailed Sano by about 200,000 votes on Monday, so the Indians’ push to get him voted in as the starter has made up more than 170,000 votes in fewer than four days.
Miguel Sano will already be in Miami for the HOME RUN DERBY – make sure he is the starting 3B!
