Minnesota Twins rookie slugger Miguel Sano is one of three finalists for the Major League Baseball Players Association Most Outstanding Rookie Award.
In addition to Sano, the other two finalists are Cleveland shortstop Francisco Lindor and Houston shortstop Carlos Correa.

Sano, who is hitting .275 with 18 home runs and 52 RBIs since he was called up to the Twins on July 2, has been responsible for helping to lead the Twins’ resurgence in August and September.

While Sano has been getting a lot of the attention around Twins Territory, Correa and Lindor may be the favorites for it.
Lindor is hitting .323 with 12 home runs, 51 RBIs, and 50 runs scored for the Indians this year. Correa, who has played in more games than either Lindor or Sano, is hitting .277 with 21 homers and 61 RBIs.
The three have emerged as the top rookies in Major League Baseball this season.

The Most Outstanding Rookie Award is presented by the MLB Players Association. The winner will be announced along with other Players Choice Award winners on MLB Network on Monday, Nov. 9.
